Christopher Jaftha completed his final two years at the National School of Arts where he studied art. After school, for a two-year period, he did voluntary work in Africa, Europe and America, raising money for HIV/AIDS orphanages back in SA.
He then joined African Footprint where he had the privilege of performing at the Royal Variety Show and toured most of Europe and Asia.
Chris took a break and took on camera acting classes at Stella Adler’s Academy of acting in Los Angeles, California. His musical theatre credits include: PETER PAN THE PANTO MIME (US/PLAYED SMEE), SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER (SAL) US MONTE/PLAYED CESAR, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (CHAD), FOOTLOOSE (COWBOY BOB), PINOCCHIO THE PANTO MIME (US/PLAYED MASTEREGO, BOYS IN THE PHOTOGRAPH.
Christopher is delighted to be a part of the MAMMA MIA! Cast. He has enjoyed a modeling career and he has also been in several advertising campaigns.
He has also made his first short action film “On Target”, directed by Andrew MacDonald and is waiting for more.
